Let’s review what we learned in Part1:

Drugs hijack the reward system of the brain in a way that floods the synapses with a super intense signal. In response, the post-synaptic neurons will decrease the number of receptors for that signal. This creates a situation where more signal is needed to create the same high (i.e. tolerance) and a normal amount of signal leads to nasty effects (i.e. withdrawal).

What is a Healthy Weight?

The most important reason for all of us to strive for a healthy weight is to live as long and as healthy a life as possible.  While it is nice to look good in a bathing suit, we at the Weight Loss Counter Revolution are primarily concerned with your health.  With that said, we have to define what a healthy weight is.
