As I sit locked indoors afraid to brave the freezing cold outside, I have been daydreaming of the coming spring. I long for a morning where my mood is not sucked into a winter vortex waiting for my car to warm up. I love sweet potatoes. They are nutritionally equivalent to white potatoes but they add a lot more flavor which means you need less quantity to get better quality in terms of flavor. If you want to add protein and make it a meal, throw in some chicken breast to make it more substantial. Regardless, this recipe is a good low calorie healthy one with a bit of spice thrown in to help you keep warm in the cold winter months. I got this one from http://deliciouslyella.com. Enjoy!

I often hear people tell me that they “watch what they eat” or that they “eat healthy” and yet they cannot lose weight. When pressed, they are almost never able to tell me exactly what this means. This creates one of the greatest obstacles to weight loss. People have absolutely no idea how many calories they are consuming. Continue reading “Why You Can’t Be Trusted”
My wife made this one for dinner tonight and it was really yummy. It also was a good source of protein. Check out my prior posts to see why that’s important:
